Shari founded and led Avant Healthcare Professionals for 18 years, achieving 38% CAGR and $175M in revenue by 2021. Avant earned many awards, Inc. 5000 (7x), Inc. 250 regional (2x), and EY Entrepreneur of the Year Florida 2017. Shari raised $50M+ in angel, private equity, and strategic investments before exiting in July 2021. She serves on several boards, including Nemours Children Health FL.

Spence has extensive experience managing financial, legal, and operational functions for high-growth companies. As Avant’s CFO from 2011 to 2019, he partnered with Shari to drive success. A CPA with a background at Ernst & Young, his expertise includes financial forecasting, workflow optimization, process improvement, contract negotiation, and investor relations.

Dr. Vikram K. Kanmukhla is a leader in antimicrobial chemistry and product management, advancing self-sanitizing surfaces and polymer additives that deliver durable, long-term protection beyond temporary disinfectants. His expertise spans nanoparticle synthesis, functionalization, scaling products from concept to commercialization, and securing EPA public-health claims. Former VP at AvantGuard; earlier at Cupron; advisor to MedCu; ex-board at Curical. PhD, Missouri S&T; BS, Kuvempu University.

Dr. Christopher Coughlin earned a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from the University of Southern Mississippi. Chris has 35+ years of experience working across the US government, industry, and academia in research, engineering, and regulatory roles. He specializes in polymer chemistry/engineering for defense and consumer products.

Dr. Lestage, with a Ph.D. in Polymer Science, has 20 years of experience in infection control technologies. She held leadership roles at Clorox and Byoplanet International. In 2023, she founded CleanOps Collective, providing strategic support to cleaning industry startups and mid-size firms in product development, market strategies, and operations across North America and Europe.

Kelly has a BS in Biology from Pennsylvania State University and an MS in Microbiology and Cell Science, which is in progress at the University of Florida. She is an expert in pathogen detection and vector-borne surveillance with the US Army of Public Health and microbiology and bio-stimulants in private industry.

She drives efficient workflows, operational consistency, and a high-functioning office environment. Her experience across healthcare staffing, higher education, and nonprofit organizations has supported leadership teams and strengthened organizational performance.
