Christina Drake, Ph.D., gives the closing keynote address at the Florida Professionals in Infection Prevention Annual Conference.
ORLANDO, Fla. (September 8, 2023)—Kismet is pleased to announce that Christina Drake, CEO, delivered the closing keynote address at the annual FPIC conference in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Drake’s address on IP Leadership highlighted the importance of innovation and the challenges in a multidisciplinary team environment.
She highlighted the invention of the underlying technology in NanoRAD at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. She recalled walking through a grocery store in the early days of the lockdown and watching a store employee incorrectly use a disinfectant that she was highly allergic to. Christina has been asthmatic from a young age and developed an allergy to bleach, so she wanted to create a way to disinfect surfaces without harsh chemicals.
