Kismet was the top pick for judges in the healthcare innovation competition at the Florida International Medical Expo Innov8
ORLANDO, Fla. (June 23, 2023) — Kismet announced that it won the FIME Innov8 competition in Miami, Florida, today. FIME received applications from healthcare innovation startups from around the world. Ten applicants were selected as semi-finalists and pitched to a group of judges on June 21 and 22nd. The top four healthcare innovation startups pitched in the final round on Friday, June 23. Kismet Technologies was thrilled to walk away with the first-place prize in the competitive Innov8.
“It’s always exciting to be selected from an international pool of the top healthcare innovation startups. As we sat through the semifinal round of pitches, we felt Kismet had a great chance to win, given the broad application and implications of its innovative antimicrobial technology. Kismet Technologies is poised to disrupt the infection control market with its patent-pending product, NanoRAD.
